Why choose to work with us?

We’re joined up!

A hallmark of all of Muse’s work is collaboration with other grassroots organisations and partners, so as to save on time, energy and money and to maximise the impact of the work.

Over the years we have noticed that a lot of public funding is wasted on offices, vehicles, travel and unnecessary and avoidable duplication. So our motto is….

‘Don’t reinvent the wheel! Collaborate and Coordinate!’

By coordinating a programme of integrated project work, Muse saves the pennies and spends every pound, effectively.

We have an amazing skillset

Our facilitators and volunteers have worked together for many years and bring cosiderable expertise, complementary skills and experience to our projects and programmes.

During the past 30 years, Lyndon has invested in and helped to build seven successful organisations; six of which have been acquired. Personally leading the contractual negotiations and deal conclusion for three of them, the largest sale was over £100M.

Lyndon is sector agnostic but looks at relatively small companies (under 50 staff) with a proven model and a level of traction within the market.

His success lies in creating value through the development of clearly defined organisational goals and the formation of highly motivated and trained teams to deliver to them. His particular speciality relates to sales and marketing.

Lyndon is currently fully engaged as the CEO of iplicit.

He has been a board member of a number of successful businesses and continues working and investing in small and growing companies as a business angel.

John is married, has two children and two grandchildren, is a committed Saints fan and still referees adult football matches at weekends.

Mandy Worthington – Land Surveyor, community volunteer in UK, France & Moldova

Of the three directors, Mandy is the only one to have been to Moldova and participated in both the Marathon 4 All and the community projects with children with special needs. She has a unique understanding of gaps in the community and how best to support the most disadvantaged and she regularly works in the social centre in Chamonix, where she lives full time.

Mandy has a deep understanding of dementia, having looked after relatives on a daily basis. Her wisdom, practical common sense and organisation skills are a huge benefit to Muse.

Mandy is married with two daughters. One of them has also volunteered in Moldova.
